Our story
Calobra was formed by three great friends who ultimately came together through cycling. Our shared love for cycling, sport and beyond, plus our similarities in personality and fantastic senses of humour made us the perfect match. Not only in friendship, but it business!

The name Calobra comes from the infamous but beautiful cycling climb 'Sa Calobra' on the island of Mallorca. Whilst the climb is known by the name of the idyllic bay where the road snakes from at the bottom, it's real name is 'Coll dels Reis'. The linguistic origins of 'Reis' can be traced back to the Old High German word “risa,” which means “to rise” or “to climb.” This etymologay signifies not only a mere ascent but also the embodiment of ambition, progress, and a burning desire to reach new heights.
